This podcast features Matt Fitzgerald. He is a runner, coach, and author. His running career started at age 12 and he remains a competative age grouper at 43. He has written many performance running and nutrition books as well as contributing to Runners World and is a member of the Training Peaks coaching staff. We discuss his new book 80:20 Running as well as data from several of his other books including Brain Training for Runners. His works are well researched and scientifically supported and he speaks at ease about his conclusions.
This episode is more focused on endurance athletics but also brings the roll of nutrition into play in the way of athletic performance.
