My mother used to joke and say she would take my night calls. She would say take an aspirin and call me in the am. Is that good advice? The reality is that there is not a whole lot of good data to support the practice of taking an aspirin to protect against cardiovascular disease. The reality is there is not a whole lot of data on a lot of hospital practices. I dive into this during this episode.
What we do know is that plant based nutrition especially nitric oxide producing greens will decrease cardiovascular events. Getting outside and exercising builds good immunity.
